The factors that have made Fine Wine such an interesting investment opportunity have been, and will continue to be, its longevity and place in history. Fine wines have always been considered as one of life’s luxuries. But, with a proven track record of providing consistent, comparatively low risk, high
yielding returns; it’s really a case of mixing pleasure with profit.

See Figures 2 and 3. The graph further on in this brochure (Figure 4) shows a Fine Wine cellar, managed by the Principal Investment Advisers and how it has performed against other markets. For the purposes of investment, Fine Wine should have the following attributes; be from a limited production, be produced under strict regulations, be from a recognised system of classification, and have a complexity of taste and longevity that improves its quality with age. When investing in Fine Wines the quality, purchase price, quantity, Château and vintage are of primary importance. Once bottled, the atmosphere, temperature and condition of its storage are equally as important.
